outbound between Swansea Road and the Moderation Public
House bus stops are temporarily out of use for the duration
of the rock fest.
Any passengers
wishing to board the bus to go to Woodcote, Wallingford,
Oxford can do so from Caversham Bridge or Reading Station
stop SE.
Passenger Notice -
X40/X39 Vastern Rd bridge Stop
From Monday 26th April
2010 this bus stop will no longer be in use due to Rail
network redevelopment. Passengers wishing to board the
X39/X40 services must board at the Rail station stop SE.
Passenger Notice -
X40 Woodcote Memorial Stop
Passengers wishing to board the bus at
the memorial heading towards Reading must wait at the bus
stop OPPOSITE the memorial. All passengers wishing to
go to Oxford must wait at the bus shelter outside the
memorial.
Important Change to Bus Stops in WALLINGFORD.
Services X39 and X40 going to OXFORD will depart from STOP A
in Wallingford Market Place (this is the stop by Hedges
Solicitors) from MONDAY February 15th, 2010.
This change is to improve the functioning of the Market
Place as the manoeuvre onto the cobble stones outside the
Town Hall can sometimes block the Market Place due to other
parked vehicles in the vicinity of the Town Hall.

Late night fares: After 2345 hrs only a
single ticket costing £4.40 per person for any journey
can be purchased. You will be able to use a valid
return ticket, 10 Tripper, All Zone Monthly
ticket or All Zone 13 week ticket.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings: Child
Fares are not available after 1930 h, and School / Student
Season Tickets are not acceptable after 1930 h
