Buying your ticket:

Tell the driver where you wish to go and which type of ticket you would like i.e. Adult single/Adult return.

If you have a pass that entitles you to free or discounted travel, show the driver as you state your destination.

Change can be given on the bus, but having the correct amount is helpful.

Take your ticket from the ticket machine, check it and keep it with you for your entire journey.

Remember to retain your ticket if you have bought a return.

Ticket Types

Single ticket: Single journey ticket, adult and child fares available. Valid on day of issue only.

Return ticket: Return journey ticket, adult and child fares available. Valid on day of issue and up to 05:00hrs next day. Ticket must be retained for return journey.

Period return: Return journey ticket, valid for up to one calendar month from date of issue. Adult and child fares available. Ticket must be retained for return journey.

Day Explorer Tickets: Enjoy the freedom to travel anywhere on all of our routes. Day explorer tickets can be purchased by one adult travelling alone or by a group of people travelling together. Ticket prices are as follows: Adult  - £6.70  Family - £12.00  Child - £5.00 ( Family Tickets may be used by : 2 adults travelling together or 2 adults and up to 3 children or 1 adult and up to 4 children) Day explorer tickets can only be purchased after 09:00 hours on Monday to Friday, but ALL DAY Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays until 23:45 hours.

Multi journey/10 trip ticket: Valid for 10 single trips for 12 months from date of issue, cheaper than buying single and return tickets. Adult and Child fares available. Concession fare available to full time students on production of a student card.  Tickets can be purchased on the bus from the driver. Please click here for 10 Trip Ticket Prices.

Monthly ticket: Unlimited travel on all of our routes and services, valid for one calendar month. Can be purchased from the driver on the bus for £60.00.

13 Week all zone pass: A photocard pass - Unlimited travel on all of our routes and services for £160.00 - valid for 13 weeks. Available to purchase from our Wallingford office, open 9.30am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday.  Payment methods accepted at our office are: Cash, Cheque, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo and Visa Electron. A passport sized photograph is required.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are paying by cheque the pass will NOT be released until the cheque has cleared.

Chlid fares:

Children under 5 are carried free of charge if they are accompanied by an adult fare paying passenger.

Child fares are for over 5 years old and under 16 years old.

Child fares are not available after 19:30hrs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Late night fares:

After 23:45hrs only a single ticket costing £4.50 per person can be purchased. You will be able to use a valid return ticket, 10 trip ticket, monthly ticket or 13 week ticket.
