  • Changes to services from 23 July 2017

    Time: 00:00 Date: 23 / 07 / 2017

In July 2016, Oxfordshire County Council withdrew all funding for bus services that it subsidised other than those linked to funding from new housing developments. In the wake of this, Thames Travel continued to operate some of these services without subsidy to try and continue to serve communities that otherwise would be left without a service. Almost one year on, some of these services continue to operate at a substantial loss as the subsidy previously provided by Oxfordshire County Council has not been replaced by additional income from passengers using the services. This means that some changes and withdrawals need to be made from 23 July 2017.
