This 12th Century Abbey is on a site that has housed religious monuments dating back to as early as c4000BC. Discover 6000 years of history in the Abbey Museum which is usually open 2pm-5pm Wednesday-Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays from Easter Sunday until September*. The Abbey regularly hosts musical performances including free Sunday afternoon busking sessions through the summer.
